Texas Tech University launched Electronic Personnel Action Forms (EPAFs) concurrent with our Banner HR go-live in December 2008. We use EPAF for all personnel transactions. Additionally, we built an interface with Banner XtenderSolutions to allow attachments to be routed with the EPAF. We also built additional two-action EPAFs when we upgraded to Banner 8. Although we will touch briefly on how we approached EPAF setup, this is not a session on how to build ePAFs. This session will demonstrate how a large university stretches EPAF functionality to the limit including day-to-day challenges, quality control, and additional features that would improve the EPAF functionality.
