Wouldn't it be nice to have some type of repository a prospective student could go to view their admissions application, their financial aid package, or if the university has made a decision on their admission? Well, that repository has arrived, here at Drexel University, we have created the Discover Drexel Portal for prospective students. This portal uses SunGard Higher Education's Luminis platform and is strictly for prospective students who have applied to the university. These students now have 24/7 access to check their admissions application and its requirements, view their admission decision or estimated financial aid, pay their admissions deposit, and obtain quick access to upcoming deadlines, important resources, open house and accepted student's day registration, and campus news. There is no longer a need for Drexel to print and send admissions letters or have these students anxiously await their decision; it is all just a login button away.
