While it is important for instructors to submit final grades in an accurate and timely fashion, it is sometimes unavoidable that grades need to be changed. To improve the existing grade change process that was time consuming and labor intensive, Drexel University has recently implemented a new grade change workflow. The workflow streamlines the grade change procedures for Faculty and Registrar staff, and incorporates some unique reporting capabilities used to track the status of change requests. This presentation will detail the benefits realized by the Registrar's Office, as well as describe the strategies used by the IT staff during workflow design and implementation.
