Description
Join us for a case study that might hit home if you are new to SharePoint and wondering how you might be able to get the most out of it at your institution. Many institutions have purchased SharePoint 2010, and feel reasonably comfortable installing the software, but then get a little bit stuck in terms of what next steps to take. During this session we will present the highlights of our recent engagement with the Rutgers University Foundation. We were able to help this team avoid some installation pitfalls and configure the server farm properly. We utilized a phased approach in order to pilot the most useful and user-friendly functionality first, so that users see immediate benefit without becoming overwhelmed. We helped Rutgers avoid some of the most common kick-off mistakes, and gave them a big head start by providing short cuts and foundational guidance. Rutgers is now set up for long-term SharePoint success – come find out why!
