In this session, the new functionality for New Hire and Live Events Enrollment in Employee Self-Service and Banner HR 8.4 will be provided. You'll learn more about the new web pages and rule forms delivered with this release to allow employees to perform their own enrollment. New Hire Enrollment will allow your institution to collect employee benefit elections as well as dependents and beneficiaries, as a new employee starting employment at your institution. Life Event Enrollment can be accessible to employees throughout the year to allow authorized changes to the employee's existing benefits for a qualifying live event change. In both types of enrollment processes, new self-service pages have been added to accept benefit Coverage and beneficiary allocations directly from the employee. New Administrative pages will allow the Benefits Administrator access to these records to review and post them into the Banner database.
