The University System of New Hampshire (USNH) has been working on a modification with SunGard Higher Education to develop functionality to track Tuition Benefit Plan usage for employees and/or their dependents. This new functionality will replace many manual processes being completed by staff in the HR, Business, Registrar, and Benefits Offices. Employees will be able to complete a Faculty/Staff Tuition Benefit request via self-service. This request will then follow one of three paths: automatic approval, forwarded for Supervisor approval, or HR Office exception. Approved requests are shared with the Business Office via a feed. Corresponding tuition dollar information is then returned from the Business Office to the HR Office and the request is updated accordingly.
