See how Messiah has created a Parent Portal (PP), using Luminis, which directly links Accepted Students and their parents in order to provide parents information in regards to the next steps their student needs to take. By creating this PP it allows us to push important information directly to parents so as to still keep them informed, but electronically, thus cutting down on mailings and being more "green" in our communication with parents. We hope this will prevent parents from using their student's portal account, and it will provide parents the ability to directly access our wireless network when they visit campus. In this session, we will present our process from development to production of our Messiah Parent Portal.
