Many institutions only use 000 and 999 priority codes. While this is perfectly acceptable, it is a very simplistic use of the application of payment functionality. This session will demonstrate and discuss the advantages of going beyond 000 and 999 to enhance and manage the application of payment process. Examples of how to utilize priority codes to assist in compliance with state and federal requirements of scholarships, or how to control the order in which fees are paid will be explored. Those who attend will benefit from understanding and utilizing a baseline functionality to control the application of payment process.
