Description
Web for Proxy is a very simple concept - a Banner person can authorize someone (their proxy) to log into Banner Self-service and use the pages she or he has been authorized for as if she or he was the Banner person. Before getting to this point, there are a number of decisions that need to be made to configure Web for Proxy appropriately for your institution. In this session, we'll walk through the configuration, go over the forms that are used, explore the mandatory and optional processes that are involved, describe the optional feeds to Banner General and Banner Advancement, and show how the system fits together. For current users of Rose-Hulman's Web for Parent mod, you'll be able to see how you can migrate from Web for Parent to Web for Proxy. And, for those familiar with Web for Parent-Web for Proxy has been expanded beyond students!
