The Arizona State University (ASU) Foundation needed to provide semi-automated correspondence functionality for production of gift receipts, pledge reminders and membership acknowledgements and renewals. We chose to use the table structure of Ack Helper in Advance Web but develop a custom set of procedures and forms to supply the requested functionality. Our correspondence 'module' uses the nightly gift/membership processes to present correspondence data in appropriate buckets for correspondence generation by the functional departments. As correspondence is processed, a correspondence history is also accumulated and displayed per entity on the Entity Overview. The ASU Foundation is on version 9.3 of Advance Web.
