This session takes a functional perspective on how TTU has taken data from SunGard Higher Education ODS and provided the campus with access to information that allows monitoring and projection of personnel expenses. Join us as we walk through the life-cycle of a report at Texas Tech University, beginning with the report specification, the iterative processes involved and finally ending with the report being moved to the a Production Environment. The focus report for this session is a report that joins both finance and human resource data to be used as a tool to monitor personnel expenses and for budgeting expenses for the next fiscal year.
