Ever had a problem with where to store additional information related to a student in Banner? Colorado State University has developed a repository of student/person information that is very flexible and accessible. We call this type of information "General Person Data Codes". We currently have 101 different types of Data Codes that we can store. Each Data Code can have up to 20 different attributes. Each attribute has a unique description and is identified as either a List of Valid Values, a Text field, a Fixed length text field, a Number, or a Date field.
Examples of what we store: Registration Ready information, Text Messaging Options, Honorary Degrees Earned, Application Fee Waiver Request, First Generation Students, Third Party Sponsor Data, and on and on.
