In the years surrounding Banner Finance go-live, our end-user training focus was system mechanics, new terminology and work processes. Over time, our users became competent in using Banner functionality but were still struggling with basic accounting and financial management concepts. In response to this need, we developed a suite of Financial Administration courses and broadened our scope of user support.

This session discusses the evolution of McGill's Finance training program. It will provide an overview of both the System and Financial Administration curriculum and the infrastructure required to sustain them. Other training mechanisms such as one-on-one visits and labs will also be discussed.

This session is geared towards all Banner Finance clients, particularly those involved in supporting end-users. Our solutions will be discussed from both a functional and training perspective.
