Issue tracking software can be a great partner as you work through system tasks. It can be used --for issues big and small-- to keep in line with scheduled releases as well as day-to-day activities.

Using the software RT-Request Tracker as an example, this session will provide values to monitor progress, ownership, priority, timing and workflow. Examples will be provided of how to automate selected category updates while testing and releasing code modifications. We'll look at one way to use issue tracking software, meeting schedules and planning guidelines in order to coordinate implementation of bug fixes, enhancements, projects and general support.
