Description
In Mexico, as in an increasing number of
countries, the relationship between the
business community and universities is of
a particular importance. In many societies,
the integration of international students in
enterprises is seen as a source of additional
income. The positive impact of this type of
student is more and more evident and both
the academic and corporate sectors have
found it necessary to develop policies and
procedures of exchange in order to have
better practices. Based on the experiences
of Mexican universities, students involved
in internships return home with a new
understanding of the values and culture
of the Mexican society and are open to
contribute to improved bilateral, business
relationships, and cultural ties. Thread 1
