Description
This session will provide critical analysis of the barriers and best practices that currently exist in recruiting and retaining male early childhood educators in diverse classroom settings, particularly those serving ELL and ESE student populations as well as the different teaching methodologies used by each gender that assists in ensuring student success. Additionally, the session will demonstrate and define a firm correlation between the success of a diverse student population within an early educational setting as it relates to gender identification and the underlying social and cognitive causes that undermine its premise.
