Based on data from the 2011 NACE Student Survey, the presentation will explore (1) how the internship experience affects student perspectives of the job (where to work; what to expect in salary; what is preferred in a job/employer); (2) how internships impact the way students approach finding a full-time position (resources used, particularly career services); and (3) how having an internship affects the outcome of the job search (offer rates, starting salaries).
