SPEAKER
:
Mary Scott, Scott Resource Group
Description
Career fairs and information sessions are key elements of most employers’ campus recruitment campaigns – but do they deliver what students want and expect? Mary Scott will present the findings of a recent study that examines, on a comparative basis, how today’s students assess the most – and least – impressive and effective employer practices. Topics include: how students decide which employers’ career fair booths to visit; the format and content they most value at information sessions; their expectations [and the impact] of company representatives – and their thoughts on using technology at [or in lieu of] these recruitment events.
