Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) has a robust student internship program that includes a Students' Association (SA). SA was designed to enhance the overall student educational experience, offer social activities, arrange career building opportunities, heighten student recruitment and retention efforts, create a dialog between fields of study, help students understand the inner workings of the organization, and provide professional networking opportunities at LANL. With their motto, "For Students, By Students," this organization is an integral part of student life at LANL, particularly during the summer when LANL hosts more than 1,000 student interns.
