Description
The Young Emerging Professionals Project (YEP) at the Center for Research on Education and the Workforce (C.R.E.W) gathered executives and young employees from major organizations in the accounting, aerospace, business services, communications, consumer products, entertainment, financial services, healthcare, law, publishing, public service, and technology sectors to reflect on the challenges and define solutions to the critical emerging generational issues that are transforming their organizations. Topics covered by the YEP Initiative included recruitment, talent management, retention, as well as employee and leadership pipeline development. This session will present the results of this research, including our Guide To Developing Young Professionals which has been underwritten by a leading aerospace firm. The YEP Initiative focuses on generational workplace issues from the perspective of young professionals, including research, training, and sharing of best practices across multiple organizations. C.R.E.W. is an innovative partnership between the Career Center at Cal State Fullerton and Spectrum Knowledge, a training and consulting firm.
