Learning Objectives:- Discuss how symptoms may be related to changing estrogen levels.
- Explain how estrogen helps control bone loss, and losing estrogen around the time of menopause causes women to lose more bone than is replaced causing osteoporosis.
- Explain that as women age, they may gain weight and develop other problems, like high blood pressure which could put them at greater risk for heart disease.
