Learning Objectives:
  1. Discuss the benefits gleaned by the food industry in partnering with public health organizations.
  2. Discuss the risks, both overt and covert, to public health as a consequence of food industry partnerships.
  3. List multiple reasons why supporting collaboration and partnership with the food industry will be helpful to address the problem of obesity.
  4. Explain the difference between basic trust, authentic trust and cordial hypocrisy and their impact on collaborative relationships.
