Dr Gerard Conway is clinical lead in endocrinology at University College London Hospital with an academic base in the Institute for Women’s Health, University College London. Dr Conway has research interests across the field reproductive endocrinology with particular regard to polycystic ovary syndrome, ovarian function and disorders of sexual development. This research has formed the basis of over 150 academic publications. In addition, Dr Conway maintains a clinical research program with visiting international research fellows. The clinics at UCLH for women with Turner Syndrome form one of the biggest specialist services in the world with a team comprising endocrinology, gynecology, nurse specialists and clinical psychology. The clinic for adults with TS has over 550 women attending. UCLH is located in central London in close proximity to Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children. The endocrine department has developed a transition program to follow paediatric conditions through adult life including CAH, 46XY DSD as well as Turner Syndrome.
