Daniel Dumesic MD is a Reproductive Endocrinologist and Clinical Professor, in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, University of Wisconsin, Madison. He also is an Affiliated Scientist at the National Primate Research Center, University of Wisconsin, Madison. Dr. Dumesic received his Medical Degree at the University of Wisconsin, Madison and completed his residency and fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology, respectively at the University of California San Francisco. Dr Dumesic's area of scientific investigation is polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and its effects on oocyte developmental competence. He also has extensively studied a nonhuman primate model of PCOS to investigate the developmental origins of this syndrome.
