Most HR professionals do not correlate EA programs with Talent Management, yet the links are huge. What happens when one of the organizations 'top talents' struggles with work/life demands? A coach, mentor or EA professional can have a profound impact on an individual's wellbeing.
Talent Management (TM) components include coaching, mentoring, succession planning, talent identification, recruitment, retention and TM technology. Vast sums are spent on TM, often with little understanding of impact or ROI. Linking your EAP to TM can increase the program's credibility and margin, reduce commoditization, and better align your organization to corporate priorities and individual HR development.
