Description
Learning Objectives: The session is designed for general surgeons, surgical oncologists, hepatobiliary surgeons and trainees in these specialties. At the end of the session, the participants will be able to discuss indications and techniques for hepatic resection; understand the role of portal vein embolization to permit extended hepatic resections; recognize the future role of nanotechnology-based cancer diagnosis and therapy.
