Falling prices and greater portability have combined to create an environment where many of our students have powerful computing devices of their own. Attendees in this session will learn how one school district empowered students and teachers to increase the use of technology in classrooms by providing an open wireless network and permission for students to bring their technology to school. Instructional, technical and policy implications will be discussed.
