In tight economic times technology departments must compete for limited resources. Participants learn how to use existing infrastructure to fund and reduce costs, maintain, and expand technology resources including how a school district used “green” cloud computing to reduce replacement costs; how CoSN’s Mastering the Moment toolkit protected a technology budget while driving efficiencies into IT operations; and the benefits of a district that contracted with an outside assessor provided a comparative perspective to justify projects.
