Description
Are you overwhelmed with the vast federal and state initiatives? Is the focus on the use of data to drive continuous improvement creating additional IT challenges? Do you have more than one resource for content and assessment? Is accessing data and aligning these resources cumbersome? A tying thread between all of these challenges is interoperability. None of this can be accomplished without interoperability between all of the applications within the education system. For more than 13 years, the SIF Implementation Specifications have been built by vendors, schools districts, and state departments of education, nationally and internationally, providing common data standards and a comprehensive solution for interoperability around teaching, learning, and operations within a school district. This session focuses on two different school district SIF Implementations and explores the new and future developments of the SIF Implementation Specification.
