This project brings interdisciplinary learning-based current events videos to classrooms for student and teacher use, evaluation, and feedback. Teachers from the Omaha Public Schools, in collaboration with MacNeil/Lehrer Productions, share how to engage students using current events as a springboard for learning, blending technology with content to give teachers an effective and engaging learning asset. Presenters share how to access the web portal and provide examples of student work including student-created and mash-up video projects.
