This panel will share the results of the Identity Management Joint Task Force with membership coming from CoSN, EDUCAUSE and Internet2. The Committee was tasked with answering the following questions: Why should school district CTOs care about IDM? What do district CTOs need to know about IDM? What are some of the key technology challenges (network design, interoperability, management of cloud computing services)? How does K-12 involvement in IDM impact higher ed, service providers and others—are there benefits to everyone working together? Included in the presentation will be a draft of the report, discussion and input from attendees for the final document. Audience participation is encouraged.
