Description
Explore a district and intermediate school district collaborative implementation of the “WAY” program – a student-centered, dropout prevention, and reengagement program that is getting results in Metro Detroit and turning heads internationally. Learn about their transatlantic partnership with the "Not School" program. The WAY learning environment is cross curricular and project based; students are researchers and teachers are mentors and experts. Researchers use projects to own their learning, demonstrate acquired knowledge, and satisfy state requirements.
