Description
During this presentation the facilitator will demonstrate how she employed social networking tools (YouTube Facebook Twitter VoiceThread LibraryThing) Google Apps and Moodle an open-source online course platform to embed 21st Century Learning skills and differentiation into her instructional program across the curriculum. The presenter will also share how these tools can be used to assess student achievement regardless of subject area and the results of two such assessments as piloted in 2009. The presenter will facilitate an audience discussion about 21st Century Learning skills themselves concerns about using social networks for educational purposes particularly in terms of network security student safety filtering and 21st Century pedagogy.
