Description
Hear the latest from Australia which is a country with a small population (15 mil) a large land mass (as big as the U.S.) and a commitment to preparing students to be globally competitive. Access to bandwidth and devices has been a significant barrier to many students particularly in rural/remote locations. The Australian Connected Classrooms Program is a $158 million Australian government initiative that is funding schools with an interactive whiteboard and video conferencing facilities upgraded bandwidth and access to web2.0 tools (blogs/wikis) in New South Wales.
