Description
When a teacher or student brings a new application or technology to the classroom the first response from IT is "not on my network" or "yes but... we'll see when we can get to it." With the proliferation of computing devices the myriad of free and nearly free cloud-based applications and the 21st century learning culture this is not enough. By personalizing technology each learner assembles tools that work best for their learning needs. Learn about designing and monitoring secure wireless networks and governance strategies in the "Jungle Model". IT works closely with instructional leaders teachers parents and students to prioritize and build consensus around how and when to use technology allowing disruptive technologies to flourish and transform learning.
