Description
Have you run out of ways to look at a problem? You know how to think through problems and make decisions but you may be ready to think more creatively, analytically, and strategically. Through activities and pharmacy-specific examples, participants will learn how and when to use creative thinking techniques. Discussions and activities will focus on how to identify and analyze the problem, review brainstorming techniques, and how to compare risks to rewards. Attendees will also learn how to determine a plan of action and evaluate action ideas. How to overcome the "can't be done" attitude will be discussed. This session will help you more effectively use decision-making tools and make better decisions.
This is a 5-hour session with a 2-hour break (12 - 2 p.m.). For CE purposes each part has a separate ACPE number.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
- Identify situations in which to apply creative thinking techniques.
