Learning Objectives:
Describe the current need for a standardized tool and quantifiable evidence of impact for medication therapy management services. Describe practice models that are currently reimbursed successfully and current initiatives to further increase reimbursement potential. Using a taped patient interview, document the patient visit and write an appropriate SOAP note. Formulate specific plans to enhance the completeness and consistency of assessment and to optimize reimbursement potential for MTMS.
