Jennifer Tryon is the Assistant Director of Pharmacy for Inpatient Services at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon. She completed a two-year specialty residency and Masters in Pharmacy Administration in 2006 at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics after graduating from the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy in 2004. Her current responsibilities at OHSU include expansion of the clinical program, pyxis and technology oversight, narcotic processes, and sterile preparation, and teaching. She has been involved with ASHP as a member of the Section Advisory Group on Leadership Development, and the Council of Pharmacy Management.

I have trained over 90 residents in my career and mentored numerous clincal pharmacists, pharmacy students, staff and young leaders. My interest in helping pharmacists be successful comes from my work on Leadership and the publication of Success Skills in AJHP which will continue in 2008.
