Conventional and Unconventional Wisdom: Emerging Approaches to Oncology Drug Dosing and Implications for Health-System Pharmacy
Featured Speaker: Mark J. Ratain, M.D.
Dr. Ratain has pioneered the field of cancer pharmacogenetics and directs research efforts in phase I cancer clinical trials aimed at determining the clinical pharmacology of new anticancer drugs at the University of Chicago. In this session, he will discuss the data supporting the labeled dosing of oncology agents as compared to alternative approaches. Clinical implications will be explored, including those related to drug-drug- and drug-food interactions.
