Registration limited to 60 participants.
This workshop covers Principle 4 of the ASHP’s Pharmacy Residency Accreditation Standard with emphasis on the design elements of the residency program. It is designed for programs that have not yet started but are in the planning phase. This workshop will ensure that your planning process for the design of the residency program is in compliance with the Standard and will get your program off to a good start.
LEARNER OUTCOMES:
- Assign goals to learning experiences in a manner that facilitates effective teaching and evaluation.
- Determine appropriate learning activities for specified learning experience goals and objectives.
- Explain requirements for assessment and customization of the resident's training plan.
- Explain requirements for effective precepting the residency program quality improvement process.
- Prepare purpose statements, select elective outcomes, and prepare program structure using the principles of the RLS.
