- Describe how to use reporting tools to uncover diversion and actions to take.
- Discuss primary methods of diversion in the pharmacy and nursing units, as well as discuss strategies to create a facility culture of detection and prevention using a multidisciplinary approach.
- Evaluate strategies to implement safeguards to prevent diversion in vulnerable areas of the hospital: pharmacy, nursing units, OR/anesthesia, ER, emergency medical services.
