Cindy has over 10 years experience as a Pharmacy Technician. Her expertise includes training pharmacy staff in automation practices, optimization of pharmaceutical contracts and purchasing policy and procedures. Cindy has developed a Pharmacy Buyer Training Certification Program. She also develops and presents ACPE-accredited continuing education programs on a quarterly basis.
Cindy's career began at Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo Texas. Her background includes staff technician, Automation Technician, OR Satellite Technician, Pharmacy Reimbursement Officer and Purchasing Coordinator. Cindy served as a Regional Purchasing Manager for McKesson Medication Management for 4 years after her employment at Northwest Texas Hospital.
Cindy's Professional Affiliations include: ASHP 1. Presented a Case Management Study in December 2007 2. Published article in CareerPharm in 2007.
National Pharmacy Technician Association 1. Currently serving on the Advisory Board for Technician Supervisors and the Public Relations Steering Committee. Pharmacy Purchasing Outlook 1. Presented at the National Conference in August 2007. She is a member of the West Texas Pharmacy Association.

Mark Siska, RPh, MBA/TM, Assistant Director Pharmacy Informatics & Technology, Mayo Clinic
Mark Siska is the Assistant Director of Informatics and Technology for Pharmacy Services at Mayo Clinic Rochester. He has been actively engaged in the development, implementation, support & oversight of medication related electronic applications and automation at Mayo Clinic Rochester for 11 years. Mark is currently the past chair of the American Society of Health System Pharmacists Section of Informatics and Technology and recently served on the National Quality Forum’s Health IT structural measures steering committee. He received his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy Degree from the University of Illinois, College of Pharmacy in 1980, completed his Hospital Pharmacy Resident training at Saint Mary’s Hospital in 1981and recently completed his MBA in technology management.
