Description
Effective treatment of Type 2 diabetic patients presents challenges and opportunities. In this session, attendees will assess and develop treatment recommendations for patient cases utilizing the most current American Diabetes Association (ADA) standards and guidelines.
- Assess and adjust various types of insulin regimens in case-based scenarios.
- Describe how to interpret and use the 2013 American Diabetes Association (ADA) Standards of Care.
- Evaluate diabetic patient cases and develop optimal treatment recommendations.
- Explain how to interpret and utilize the 2012 ADA/EASD Management of Hyperglycemia in Type 2 Diabetes Position Statement.
