Lance is currently the administrator for the Ballinger Memorial Hospital in Ballinger, Texas and the Regional Cancer Treatment Center in San Angelo, Texas. Ballinger Memorial Hospital is a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital and the Regional Cancer Treatment Center provides radiation therapy for cancer patients. He has served as the administrator for both organizations for over 13 years. Lance has served on many state and national committees and boards including the Texas Organization of Rural and Community Hospitals, the Northwest Texas Hospital Association, and the Texas Hospital Associations HealthShare preferred vendor organization as well as past Chairman of the THA Rural Constituency Council.
On a national level, through his involvement with the National Rural Health Association, Lance has served as the Hospital and Health Systems Constituency Group chairman and as a board member for the Association as well as chair of the Membership Committee. Currently he serves as President for 2012.
Lance has over 18 years of healthcare experience and an MBA from the University of Dallas. He has a certification and an executive fellowship in physician practice management through the American Academy of Medical Management.
