Richard Ponder, Jr., MBA, CMRP, Division Pharmacy Inventory and Procurement Analyst, Parallon Supply Chain Solutions
Richard C. Ponder, Jr., MBA, CPhT, CMRP, CPP, CEPP is the Division Pharmacy Inventory and Procurement Analyst for Parallon Supply Chain Solutions, MidAmerica Division. He received a Bachelors of Science in Biology from Our Lady of Holy Cross College, a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Management from the University of New Orleans and a Master in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. He continues to remain active professionally in multiple pharmacy and supply chain organizations having held positions within several: Chair of the National Pharmacy Purchasing Association Advisory Board, Vice Chair of Pharmacy Technician Educational Steering Committee for the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, Member of HealthTrust Purchasing Group Pharmacy Buyer Advisory Council, Co-Chair of Louisiana Society of Health-Systems Pharmacist Membership and Marketing Committee, Advisory Board Member for Konvoke, Member of the Association for Healthcare Resource and Materials Management Education Committee and Director of Marketing and Membership and Board Member for the Institute for Supply Management Greater New Orleans Chapter. He has received awards and presented at the state and national level and continues to consult, perform research and develop programs surrounding the pharmacy supply chain.
