Dr. Cohen is Professor, Department of Pharmacotherapy at Washington State University College of Pharmacy and previously also served as Department Chairman. He is also serves as Professor for WIMHRT (Washington Institute for Mental Health Research and Training) and previously served as Assistant Director for Psychopharmacology Research and Training. He also works with graduate students and faculty and is Professor of Health Policy and Administration for WSUSpokane. Dr. Cohen is a Board Certified Psychiatric Pharmacist has served as a member of the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties Psychiatric Pharmacy Specialty Council. He served as a member of the United States Pharmacopeia Psychiatry Expert Committee from 2005-1010 where we participated in development the Model Guidelines for CMS. Previously, Dr. Cohen was Professor of Psychiatry, Medicine and Clinical Pharmacy at the University of Cincinnati Colleges of Medicine and Pharmacy. Dr. Cohen has also served as Director of the Office of Clinical Trials for the University of Cincinnati. Prior to his appointment at the University of Cincinnati, Dr. Cohen was Global Director of Central Nervous System Research for Kendle International Inc, one of the largest global clinical research organizations. Prior to moving to Cincinnati, Dr. Cohen was Professor of Pharmacy, Psychiatry + Behavioral Sciences at the University of Oklahoma Colleges of Pharmacy and Medicine, and Director of Clinical Pharmacology Services for the Developmental Disabilities Services Division of the Oklahoma Department of Human Services, where he and his service he provided patient clinical consultations on a statewide basis, educational programs for professional staff and the public and technical assistance to the Departmental regarding policy and program development. Dr. Cohen also served as the Director of Pharmaceutical Services for the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services and was responsible for pharmacy services for all State Hospitals and Community Mental Health Centers Pharmacy Services throughout the state and chaired the Departments Statewide Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee. Dr. Cohen has also held academic appointments at the University of California, San Francisco School of Pharmacy and University of Maryland School of Pharmacy. Dr. Cohen has been elected Fellow of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy and the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists. Dr. Cohen is a Founding Director of the College of Psychiatric and Neurologic Pharmacists. Dr. Cohen is a member of many professional organizations including the American College of Clinical Pharmacy, where he founded and served as Chairman of the Central Nervous System Practice and Research Network and was elected to the Board of Regents and most recently serves as President-Elect. He also served the membership of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, as Chairman of the Psychopharmacy Specialty Practice Group and various committees and task forces. In March 2010, Dr. Cohen was inducted as a Distinguished Practitioner of the National Academies of Practice (Pharmacy Academy). In 2012, Dr. Cohen was elected Fellow of the American College of Clinical Pharmacology. Dr. Cohen's scholarly interests include pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of psychotropic medications, geriatric psychopharmacology, pharmacoeconomics, pharmacoepidemiology, and emergency preparedness (specifically, access to healthcare during times of crisis). He has served as consultant for numerous pharmaceutical companies and national managed-care organizations. He has served on the Editorial Boards of Innovations in Clinical Neuroscience, Psychiatry 2010, the Primary Care Companion of the Journal of Clinical Psychiatry, Drug Benefit Trends, the Journal of the American Medical Directors Association, CNS News and Pharmacy Practice News, and as a reviewer for journals such as Journal of Clinical Psychiatry, Pharmacotherapy, Annals of Pharmacotherapy, American Journal of Health-System Pharmacy, American Journal of Pharmaceutical Education, Human Psychopharmacology: Clinical and Experimental, Clinical Therapeutics, Current Psychiatry, Pharmacoeconomics, and American Pharmacy. He also has fulfilled an extensive invited lecture schedule and has both authored and co-authored numerous articles in professional journals. After earning his Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Southern California School of Pharmacy, he completed his postdoctoral residency in psychiatric pharmacy at the LA County/USC Medical Center. Throughout his professional career, Dr. Cohen has been recognized for his clinical skills, management abilities and professional activities. Effective June 1, 2012 Dr. Cohen is Professor, Associate Dean for Clinical Programs and Interim Chair, Department of Pharmacotherapy at the University of North Texas System College of Pharmacy.

Diane Ginsburg completed her bachelor of science in pharmacy at the University of Pittsburgh and a master of science in hospital pharmacy at the University of Houston. She completed a two-year ASHP-accredited residency in hospital pharmacy administration at The Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas. Ms. Ginsburg is currently a Clinical Professor in the Health Outcomes and Pharmacy Practice Division and Assistant Dean for Student Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin, College of Pharmacy. In addition, she is currently a student in the doctoral program in Higher Education Administration in the College of Education at the University of Texas at Austin. Ms. Ginsburg is currently Immediate Past President of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists and served a 3-year term on the ASHP Board of Directors. She has served ASHP in several capacities including the following: Chair, Council on Educational Affairs, Editorial Advisory Board of the American Journal of Health-Systems Pharmacists, Texas Delegate 1993-2005, Co-Coordinator National Clinical Skills Competition and was a Member of the Advisory Panel that was instrumental in forming the ASHP Student Forum. She is the Editor-in-Chief of ASHPs NAPLEX Review as well as an author and editor of ASHPs Preceptors Handbook for Pharmacists. Ms. Ginsburg has also been active with other pharmacy organizations including the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) and served on the most recent AACP Center for Advancement of Pharmaceutical Education (CAPE) Advisory Panel on Educational Outcomes. She is a Past President of the Texas Society of Health-System Pharmacists (TSHP) and has served TSHP in various capacities. She was honored by the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy and received the 2005 Distinguished Alumnus Award.

Charles W. Jastram, Jr. Pharm.D., FASHP is Associate Professor Department Head of Department of Clinical and Administrative Sciences at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. His department includes 36 clinical faculty at 3 campuses (Monroe, Shreveport and Baton Rouge), 5 pharmacy administration faculty, 2 PGY1 residents and 10 support personnel. His clinical areas of interest are surgical critical care and clinical nutrition. He completed his B.S. and Pharm.D. degrees at Xavier University of Louisiana. Dr. Jastram is active in several national, regional and local professional organizations including: American Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists (ASHP), American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP), and American Society for Parental and Enteral Nutrition (ASPEN). He has held several leadership positions within these organizations including ASHP Chair of the Council on Organizational Affairs and Committee on Nominations, Louisiana delegate to ASHP House of Delegates for 8 years and National Clinical Skills Competition judge. He is past President of the Louisiana (LSHP) and Southeast Louisiana (SELSHP) Societies of Health-System Pharmacists. Dr. Jastram is widely published and is an ASHPs PharmPrep Section Editor. He has presented at state, national and international meetings. Charles has several recognition awards including the LSHP Leadership Award and Tommy Himel Award of Excellence, SELSHP Pharmacist of the Year and is a Fellow of ASHP.

James A. Karboski earned a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from Washington State University (1985) and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Texas (1987). His postdoctoral training includes a Clinical Sciences Fellowship in Pharmacokinetics and an Iowa Geriatrics Education Center Fellowship. Dr. Karboski is currently a Clinical Professor and Assistant Division Head in the Health Outcomes and Pharmacy Practice Division at the University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy. Dr. Karboski directed the Adult Internal Medicine Residency program in collaboration with Brackenridge Hospital for 15 years, supervised 14 residents and created a program that is nationally recognized as a superior training program for future academicians. Dr. Karboski has authored numerous scientific and professional articles in the areas of clinical therapeutics and pharmacokinetics. He has presented over 200 times before various professional, scientific and student groups. His current interests include curricular innovation and the use of technology in teaching.

Jason M. Vaughn, Ph.D. has 12 years of pharmaceutical development experience. He spent several years at PharmaForm LLC in various positions including Associate Director of Analytical and Formulation Development, Director of Operations and eventually Vice President of Operations. He then joined DPT Laboratories as Director of Formulation Development where he led a team that developed formulations for liquids and semisolids. Following this, he joined Enavail LLC as Director of Research. In 2012, Jason joined Patheon as Director of Scientific Affairs in the Cincinnati facility. He received a B.S. in Pharmacy and a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from the University of Texas at Austin.

John L. Woon, Pharm.D, FASHP, Manager, Pharmacy Informatics, Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center and Childrens Hospital and Providence Holy Family Hospital, Spokane Washington. John received his undergraduate pharmacy degree at the University of Montana and Pharm.D. from the University of Illinois at Chicago. In addition to his current position, John has held the following positions: staff pharmacist, Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator, and Director of Pharmacy for a large rural hospital; clinical pharmacist in Level III neonatal intensive care and Level I adult trauma units in a tertiary teaching hospital; Senior Manager of outcomes research for a global pharmaceutical company; co-founder/VP Product Management of a chronic disease management software and consulting company; Project Lead for Pharmacy Services during the construction, licensing and staffing of a new hospital campus in Vancouver Washington; and Clinical Associate Professor of Pharmacy with a college of pharmacy and clinical pharmacist in Adult Medicine. John has spent a majority of his clinical career in inpatient practice, focusing on infectious diseases and critical care.
