Monica Barrington currently leads the Partnership for Patients (PFP) program for Premier. The Premier PFP HEN is comprised of over 440 hospitals nationwide, and Monica guides a team that provides education, communication, and data driven improvement across ten areas of HARM and Readmission.
Monica has 20+ years working locally in hospitals as a leader in various departments and nationally as an educator to hospitals in quality, management and physician leadership. She has developed quality programs and collaborative series for the VHA alliance of hospitals and has created disease management programs for healthcare providers and employer groups.
Ms. Barrington received both her pharmacy and her masters in health policy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is Board certified in Pain Management and has change management expertise in all of the topic areas represented in the Partnership for Patients Program.
