Evaluation of Near Misses Events Occurring in the Pharmacy Department Resulting in a Change to Dispensing Workflow and Practice
- Describe a process improvement tool that can assist in work flow modifications to improve patient care.
- Evaluate how near miss event reporting can provide opportunities for a department to improve on current practice.
- Explain how reporting a medication near miss event can improve a workflow process within a department.
