You will be notified prior to the meeting whether you are eligible to attend. Only those pre-qualified will be eligible to attend; onsite registrations will not be accepted for this workshop.
This educational workshop is designed to inform those involved in formulary and other drug policy decision-making positions on comparative effectiveness research (CER) and its importance in health care today. Participants will learn about the AHRQ Effective Healthcare Program, its process, and CER products available online. Faculty will describe three main CER study types, how to evaluate CER quality, and provide a framework for reviewing CER to determine the applicability of the research to the needs of P&T Committees and other drug-policy decision makers.
This educational program is certified for 3.5 hours of CE and 3.5 AMA PRA Category I Credits™ by the University of Arizona. There is no additional cost to attend this program; however, it is limited to health care practitioners involved in the P&T process and who agree and are eligible to participate in this research project (conducted by the University of Arizona).
