Description
After reviewing the final requirements of the Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) for Health IT in 2011, including stage 1 objectives and measures, you’ll explore what’s on the horizon for Stage 2 and beyond. You’ll also examine collaborative efforts within pharmacy to create a consensus-based roadmap of meaningful use of medication-related technology; plus, presenters will preview efforts to create a certifiable Pharmacy Practitioner EHR.
- Describe the progress to date on Meaningful Use and Stage 2 criteria.
- Describe the rationale and current status of efforts by the Pharmacy eHIT.
- Explain how some envision the evolution of health information technology in the near future.
